Free screenings on Market Square will be held daily at 10 PM.
The repertoire includes some of last year’s most important films, e.g. Maren Ade’s Toni Erdmann, Paterson by Jim Jarmusch, Asghar Farhadi's The Salesman, last year's opening film - Julieta by Pedro Almodóvar, a Polish classic - Man of Iron by Andrzej Wajda, as well as one of the most important Polish documentaries, Workers 80 by Andrzej Zajączkowski and Andrzej Chodakowski. On August 10, Jerzy Rogiewicz's band will play live music to the classic Polish film Halka w directed by Konstanty Meglicki. The National Film Archive - Audiovisual Institute are partners of the screening.
